Abingworth Management Appoints Miles As Venture Partner

WALTHAM, MA -- Abingworth Management, a UK and United States-based life sciences venture capital firm, announced the appointment of Dr. Vincent Miles as Venture Partner.
Dr. Miles was previously Senior VP of Business Development at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, an Abingworth portfolio company.
Prior to that, he held a variety of strategic planning and business development positions in the pharmaceutical industry. He was formerly Director of the technology transfer office at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Miles will be based in the firm's Waltham, Mass. offices.
